Octopi on existing RasPi NAS?

Hello all,

I'm new to 3D printing and only just found out about Octoprint / Octopi. Great stuff!

As the title already indicates, I have a home NAS setup using a RasPi4. As it is mostly idling around, I would like to add Octoprint to it. I understand that the standard way to install Octoprint is to install from scratch and use the Pi as a dedicated print server. But this would remove/disable the already running NAS functionality. Besides, I guess the Pi4 has enough CPU power to run Octoprint in parallel...!?

Is there a how-to which I could follow...? Thanks in advance for any advice!!!

Georg

Here's an extensive guide:

It is linked from the OctoPrint download page.
