PSU Control plugin always change switching method back to default

I'm currently using Octoprint 1.5.0 and the latest version of the plugin.
Every time I change or update something on a preference page. The plugin will change the switching method back from GPIO Pin to GCODE Command.

No idea why this happening but this is very annoying. Does anyone also have this problem?

It saved fine for me. initially reverted back to GCODE, and I changed it back to GPIO. Been using it pretty much daily and have even rebooted the pi a couple times for OS updates...
