any update? i'm intrested to listen audio from webcan on octoprint. it would be great even without ai, just listen audio.

Tech has progressed so much by now.
I asked AI (OpenAI O1) if there was already such a plugin.
Instead of answering it was already giving me half or all of the program.
Maybe I will pick it up.
Its on my list.
I already started working on a go2rtc plugin that in theory supports microphone over a stream I think.

I think people are getting too complicated with AI and auto-detection. Just simply being able to hear the audio from the webcam in the browser would be extremely handy and does not require any fancy trickery. Has anyone had success with adding this easily to an existing modern OctoPrint instance?
I haven't tested it with go2rtc, but like I already mentioned, it should be possible.
