I am running Octoprint on an older HP netbook running Linux Mint 17. Everything works well except that when I get an octoprint announcement that is larger than the 10" screen, I have no way to scroll down to turn off the announcement and it blocks things like the stop print button. The problem is when you scroll the page down, the announcements don't scroll as well. The options would be to put a delete option on the top of the announcements or to lock the announcement so that it will scroll with the rest of the screen.
I do know that I can disable them but I do like knowing what is coming with the software.
