Automatic recovery from printer powerdown

Can Octoprint automatically recovery from printer power down?

I have an Ender5 with Bigtree SKR V2.0 motherboard. When not using the printer, I like to power it down, but leave the RPi powered up.

But Octoprint will not recover without manually reconnecting, which is also very unresponsive.

Is there a setting to make Octoprint automatically recover?
If not, wouldn't this be a very desirable feature?
