Upgrading to the latest version including upgrade to bookworm I was a bit hesitant/reluctant. Just because I could I made a backup using the backup feature of OctoPrint.
A few days later my old SD card acted up and I was forced to write a new one. Started, uploaded the backup and low and behold, everything was set up as it was. Never expected that it works that flawless!
Therefor a very big thank you to the developers for their excellent work!

Definitely recommend installing my backup scheduler plugin and one of the cloud based backup plugins (ggogle, onedrive, dropbox timelapse, or webdav) to have those backups at your disposal in the event that an sd card does get corrupted or dies.
If one changes the setup quite often this is for sure helpful. Besides updates I haven't changed mine since more than 3 years. If I ever do I just make another backup after that. As I don't have a high opinion about cloud services I prefer to have the backup on my local PC which is backed up daily to my in-house server.
