Connect (ssd/hdd) to the Raspi for Octolapse Video storage

Hi, i want to set Up a high Resolution Cam.
Now i want to know if its possible to connect an Extertal storage (ssd/hdd) via USB to the Pi and safe the Records onto it.

Would be perfect if there is a way to do it. Im a beginner with the raspi.

You can connect the SSD using the USB ports, then adjust the path to the storage from OctoPrint's settings.
