Control 2 instances of octoprint, 1 screen

I have my second pi (4B) on the way and will be adding a touchscreen. I was initially planning on dedicating the pi to one instance of octopi for 1 printer and use the screen for a local interface, however, I then learned about having multiple instances on one octopi.

My question is, and I can't find an answer anywhere, if I load two instances of octoprint on my octopi, can I flip between those two instances from the local screen (attached to the octopi)?

Depends on what method you're using for interfacing with the screen. For example OctoDash won't let you switch, but if it's just running a browser window you could switch between.
