Dwc_otg parameters used for RaiseCloud?

I would like understand the use of dwc_otg parameters in cmdline.txt which are documented in the setup for RaiseCloud with Octoprint.

dwc_otg.fiq_enable=1
dwc_otg.fiq_fsm_enable=1
dwc_otg.fiq_fsm_mask=0x3

I assume that they are for interrupt settings for the USB connection, but I have not been able to find these particular options defined anywhere, or why they are recommended for the RaiseCloud link with Octoprint.

Where can I find the definitions. Would they improve the usb connection performance even if RaiseCloud is not being used?
