First 1-2 seconds of timelapse frozen

I'm fairly new to Octolapse but have noticed that my videos are "frozen" for the first 1-2 seconds. This isn't a huge deal as I'm sure I can edit my video and remove the first second but I was curious why it may be doing this and how I can fix it. Here is a video explaining what I mean-

This is usually a feature, called 'timelapse pre roll' or something similar.

In OctoLapse, you can adjust these settings in the 'rendering' tab. You'll need to customise a default profile I suspect.
