How to set Z-Offset in Octoprint

Uhmm - Louise - this thread is two years old...

And yet people are still finding it when they have an issue, just like I did, so now they can find an answer in it that was not there before..

Which is of course, the whole point of a support forum is it not?

So grateful I finally found this. I had to change my "Before print job starts" to:

G0 Z-1.85 ; Move the head to -1.85 mm
G92 Z0 ; Call this Z = 0

M206 Z-0.2 ; Will raise the Z height by 0.2 mm
M500 ; Stores the offset in memory

did the trick for me on my CR-10 V3. Installed a slighly longer nozzle andwas always getting .3 to .5 diff after setting z-offset directly on theprinter
