Is OctoPrint Power Panic on Prusa now possible?

I just stumbled on the Prusa 3.14 firmware updates:

Specifically this: "[...] and initial support for "USB" (or RPi port) power panic when using PrusaLink/Prusa Connect on the MK3/S/+."

Does anyone know if this means that it is theoretically possible for OctoPrint to use the EEPROM data over its USB connection with the printer ?

That could be used with a plugin to auto-resume print possibly. Would have to know what in EEPROM is being stored, and then process the action command they mention to get that EEPROM information and act of in with the gcode stored. Would be something that @paukstelis would possibly be interested in for his OctoPrint-PowerFailure plugin, although with that plugin you may not even need the new firmware feature.
