Is PortLister still applicable to the 1.4.2?

Hello,

I seem to remember reading that PortList was created to overcome a port detection problem with earlier versions. Should I remove it?

That's a different plugin, where there was a bug in autodetection in a previous version. Port Lister just updates the list of serial ports when it notices there's one missing.
