Is there any way to convert my printer's touchscreen to the OctoPi interface?

So, I have a Neptune 3 Pro running OctoPrint. The problem is, however, that the touchscreen becomes useless. So, I was wondering if it would be possible for me to hook the touchscreen up to OctoPrint. I have an extra Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W, which can be used if needed. Could I put a card formatted for OctoPi into the printer's firmware card slot? I'm just wondering if it would be possible, since for Klipper, the touchscreen is used, so for OctoPrint, too I think that would be really cool.

Depends on the screen and how it's connected I'd guess. Assuming if it's running klipper locally that screen is probably running KlipperScreen on the linux side where klipper is installed. Might be able to switch what's installed/running to OctoDash which is basically like klipper screen.

It's just the printer's standard touchscreen.

I assume that the touchscreen is very deeply integrated into the printers system.
Hard to tell if an external access is possible.

Very doubtful. The same problem exists with other printers. Remember your printer is a pc running software (firmware) and the screen is the display for that pc. Hooking into it isn't that simple.

not necessarily. there are quite a few newer printers now that the screen is actually it's own host software, that also has its own firmware installed on it.
