I am new here and glad to be here.
I just got into Octolapse a few weeks ago and for the life of me, I can't figure out how to stop the stringing from the Hotend that moves away from the print for a snapshot. Now I can print fine when it snaps to print or anytime the Hotend doesn't move away from the model. I also checked my retraction for speed and distance and matched them with Cura and Octolapse. I even tried all different snapshot speeds.
I also heard that people use Wipe Towers, but I can't figure out how to add one in cura with a single extruder in Cura. I attempted to put one manually, but the printer seems to make an additional travel move back and forth to take the snapshot and puts the leftovers from the manually aded Wipe Tower which makes it useless. I also set the PLA to 180c.
Printer: Anycubic Vyper, Cura 5.6, Sunlu PLA, c270 camera
