I can't recall what persuaded me to try Klipper, but I'm kind of stuck with it now because I couldn't fathom how to configure Marlin for this printer...
It works. I can't say if it works better than anything else because I've not done a side by side comparison, but it's good enough that I've not been moved to try.
I think there was a purpose to starting this discussion, but I've forgotten what it was, but there is no harm in reaching out for the sake of it and maybe it'll come back to me...
