I tried again serveral GPIO - pin's on my raspberry, but without any success. I don't know what's wrong, but I think it cann't be so difficult to run this plugin.
It's worth searching this forum for either "Neopixel" or "WS2812" for discussions about these style of LEDs while trying to talk to them with a Raspberry Pi.
The WS2812 relies upon 5V logic on the data line (Arduino). The Raspberry Pi has a 3.3V logic level. There are ways to make this work but you can't just solder something together and cross your fingers.
