Octoprint hijacked ?!

Believe it or not, there's BIG money in search engine priority.

True story... a guy cold-calls me in my office, wanting to sell me keywords. I'm like "nobody uses your search engine". He's like "yes, like 100K or so do". I'm like "oh hell, no, people aren't going to willfully sign up to switch search engines..." He's like "um, well... I pay people to insert my search engine in front of the others, $1 per user".

So he starts to describe the business model which involves him paying companies $1/user to inject his search engine into their browser's search providers. By the end of the phone call, he'd admitted to hijacking about 100K users' browsers without their consent.

Ha, so he knows exactly how many users there are since he's hijacked them himself!
