OctoPrint + TFT + Conky

After working the entire weekend on this, I just managed to get my TFT screen running with Raspbian Stretch and OctoPrint and added Conky to allow me to display a variety of system details on the desktop. I'm replacing the stock behavior on a Robo C2 in case anybody is familiar with that one.

I'll later figure out ways of hacking Conky to allow me to display print job status and details of the printer itself.

Gah, silly delete/edit.

I'm unfamiliar with how to get the RPI that hosts OctoPrint to allow display out. Is it conky enabling it?

I think I'm unique in using Conky for a printer interface, (yes).
