I have searched but it seems a while since any posts with any definitive answers.
I am looking at running Octoprint and Kilpper with camera and Offical 7" Touchscreen.
Originally I was looking for a Model 3B+ but there is a huge lead time in NZ at the moment.
I am wondering if Pi 3 Model A+ would work. I realise that I would have to use a USB hub to connect any extra peripherals (although all USB ports on 3B+ use onboard hub anyway).
With the same processor as the 3B+, my biggest concern then is the RAM usage and running the above configuration on 512MB.
Does anyone have any experience of this, and would it work? Otherwise I can get the Pi 4 but I feel it may be overkill for what I need and costs twice as much...
