Plugin for Prusa Filament Sensor

Just recently I found out the latest prusa laser filament sensor, which should not only detect the presence of the filament (as any physical switch sensor would do) but also its movement.
But since I do not own a Prusa printer I was wondering if there was any plugin which could directly connect the sensor to the raspberry pi board.

Hi @LMazz01!

Do you have a link?

Latest filament sensor from Prusa is found here: https://www.prusaprinters.org/original-prusa-i3-mk3s-and-mmu2s-release-sl1-and-powder-coated-sheets-update/
The movement detectors are already obsolete because of issues with transparant and some other filaments.

but he is in general right because it is the latest prusa laser sensor

Well, I think I got a bit outdated since I was referring to sensors like the one I saw in this article: https://www.prusaprinters.org/firmware-3-4-0-with-filament-sensor-engine-2-0-is-out/
