I wondered what experiences others have had with the Prusa single tool XL. I've seen some conflicting reports here and on the internet, and I am hoping to get some feedback from someone with a single tool XL and OctoPrint. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

There's been one user that used their XL in a single tool configuration for a while before adding the additional tools and it worked for them fine. The things you're going to run into as being problematic are the same things that the MK4,MK3.9, mini, etc. have with the newer PrusaBuddy firmware releases. That firmware has its limitations compared to older PrusaFirmware on the MK3 and below.
