I am currently struggling with setting up Octoprint on an orangepi 3B. I had not imagined that this would prove so difficult. I am not so experienced in the linux world, so I had imagined that if I installed the Raspian for orangepi, things would just work. This has certainly not been the case. And basically none of the plugins that use gpio works.
I need a filament sensor plugin, and I found one thats made for the Opi.GPIO lib. But it is marked as <3 in the Python req. Its pretty old, and just from looking at the code, I cant see why it would not work with Python3.
Can this be changed/tested?
I would say that you should post an issue on the github page but that is turned off for this repository. Looks like the last update was a long time ago(years). Although there is an old dev branch that was created just 7 months ago. This Plugin Might be abandoned though.
