I used to be able to update several plugings, then restart Octoprint.
Today I tried to update two plugins through the Update Software tab, but it rebooted without giving me the choice of restarting later.
Is this Octoprint or plugin behaviour?
In other words, who do I complain to?
Whether a restart is needed for a plugin or not is determined by the things the plugin uses. Some things can not be updated during runtime and thus require a restart.
You should always expect a restart to be required.
Fair enough. To be fair, it did say "This will update the following components and restart the server:"
I think it's the first time it actually did it.
