Remote Arduino to display Print progress

Hi Community

I have this idea in my head where I would like a remote (away from octopi and printer displays the progress of an ongoing print. Pretty much like an "On Air" sign showing

"PRINTING"
"Remaining time 1h 22m 30s" or "Progress 23%"

Or even better where you config the display in an plugin.

I expect some Arduino or Raspery Zero to wireless communicate with Octoprint, but I really have no clue on where to start. Thats where you guys comes into the picture.

One option would be to use a pi zero with OctoDash or OctoScreen :slight_smile:

I'm using an ESP with MQTT to transfer Data from and to Octoprint.
