Set time for Octoprint to start Print job?

Is there a Plugin or a way to use Node red and MQTT to schedule a certain time for prints to start like at 12:00 AM

Have searched but not finding anything yet.

I created a playlist plugin for a very specific use case that creates a print queue of sorts that allows for setting a time for the print queue to stop/start. Not exactly what you are looking for, but would work. You could use api calls to start a print job.

Yes it would be nice to be able to delay the start of print until a particular time. We have cheaper electricity from 2AM to 5AM and I can delay the start of my Bosch dishwasher to start at 2AM but I have to do the calculation myself as it is just a delay. A scheduled time would be better.

I did make the Print Scheduler plugin that can do this.

Thanks. I will have to get new Raspberry PIs as most of my instances of OctoPrint are too old to install new plugins and later OctoPrints no longer run on old RPIs.

Comically, the reason we have cheap electricity at 2AM is because our utilities come from a company called Octopus Energy, so the Octopi are taking over!
