I'm "subscribed" to the Development channel. I was of the assumption that I would be offered to update when anything new was released on any of the 3 channels since I was subscribed to what might be the least stable branch. When 1.4.1 came out I had to switch to the stable release channel in order to be offered to install 1.4.1 when I checked for updates. I do get the update notifications when new versions are released, I just don't get offered to upgrade to the new stable release.
