Hello, how can I make high quality timelaps like this one?
A combination of OctoLapse, a high quality (possibly DSLR) camera and some video editing skills would be my guess.
And how do I know which dslr camera will work properly with octoprint? And are there good options in the $ 500-1000 range?

Thanks, I found a list of supported cameras but how can I tell which camera is good and which is less? Just check each one? 
The same way that you would decide about buying any product, you look at the details yourself and see if it is a product you would like to buy.
Well I think I'll wait with that for a bit ... What do you think of the camera Logitech c922 Is there anything better but simple?
