Snapmaker U1, compatible with Octoprint?

Snapmaker U1 runs on klipper. Will it work with Octoprint?

Starting with OctoPrint 1.12.0 (to be released early 2026, with a first RC hopefully still this year) it hopefully will, as that will ship with support for printers offering a Moonraker API.

I'm early bird October in the US, so should be getting mine mid Dec and will be testing this.

Really great to hear!!! I'm also an early bird October in the US so I will be glad to test an RC hopefully in early December sometime! I've been using Octoprint with my Snapmaker 2.0 A350 for awhile and would be lost without it!!! Thank you!!

Fingers crossed for the U1 access with my Octoprint Server is sooner more then later.

I've been using it with the development version of OctoPrint 1.12.0 and a moonraker plugin and it can connect and monitor prints, etc. So, it's not too far around the corner for initial release candidate stage sometime after the beginning of the year. Gina was developing it against her Qidi and it just worked for me with my U1. There's still much development to do, but there is someone else contributing to the moonraker plugin as well to allow it to be as full featured as possible, but Gina is on well deserved vacation until beginning of the year. Haven't had a chance to test the camera capabilities yet but I know the U1's camera in fluidd;s web interface built-in to the printer is also not present.

Which moonraker plugin are you using?

Like I mentioned, it would require using github commit on the dev branch. In Software Update, click the gear icon in the top right and change it like below screenshot. Bear in mind, this can break some plugins from working if they depend on OctoPrint version numbering.
