Update problems

Hi ,

I have not used Octoprint ops a Raspberry Pi for over a year,
so now, ich want to update from 1.5.3 --> 1.7.2, yes a big leap.

i get this error:

i suspect a problem with python3, how can i do the intermediate step?

Next time post in 'Get Help' and provide the whole log file and we should be able to see the actual problem.

Thanks for your help! it worked, but I will do a new clean reinstall followed by a backup.
