I'm attempting to set up the new UPS plugin to use a local UPS connected via USB, but I can't seem to figure out how to actually configure it. The NUT guides say to modify the nut.conf file, but one wasn't created when the plugin was installed, and the settings of the plugin don't mention anything about any config files...
You have to install and configure NUT yourself - the plugin requires an already working setup.

You might find this website to be more helpful. It's geared towards Pi's as opposed to all of the other flavors of Linux. (I also use NUT on my Ubuntu server - but I'm no means an expert - hence the reason why I'm here, seraching for answers) This is what I used to configure NUT on my raspberry pi:
