Use display of ender 3 v2

Hi and Hello,

Was wondering the nice display of the ender 3 v2 goes unused when using octoprint wouln't it be cool if we could display octoprint on it ? Perhaps with rewireing ?
Has anyone looked into this ?

These nice displays are very new, with limited support so far in terms of software. It isn't very easy to use, since it requires flashing of a firmware IIRC. I haven't heard of much in terms of OctoPrint, though I know on the Marlin (and probably other FW) side they have worked quite a lot on the display software.

there are plugins that display octoprints progress on the display

afaik only ender 3 original not the v2.
