What is the problem?
I noticed that when I connect to octoprint over the web that logged in or not I could see my webcam feed. Is there a way to make this feed only available once logged into Octoprint? is there something in the works for future updates that will make this available if it is not already. What did you already try to solve it?

The web cam server is a separate process (mjpg-streamer) from OctoPrint.
I seem to recall that someone on the forum explained how you could stop and restart that server from OctoPrint. Search the forum for "mjpg-streamer" and/or "webcam" and have a look see.
This is coming in a future update, a more granular permission system will allow you to lock out parts of the UI. That being said, as Tone says, mjpeg streamer is a separate program and potentially anyone who knows how may be able to access it.
