Add printer profile not possible

Hello:) If information is needed, please ask.

What is the problem?

I would like to add a printer profile. However, this is not possible. When saving I get the error
"Could not add profile
There was unexpected error while saving the printer profile, please consult the logs."

The error also occurs in safe mode.

What data i tried to add. Everything is default except printer size 300x300x400 and Name "Sidewinder" and Model "X1"

What did you already try to solve it?

Save mode started. logs checked. raspberry restarted.

Have you tried running in safe mode?

yes. information above

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

yes i tried safe mode and no, it not solved my problem

Are you sure you only used english letters?
Nothing in for example chinese, or emojis, or other non UTF-8 characters?

yes i am sure. the only fields i changed were:

Name: "Sidewinder"
Model: "X1"
X: "300"
Y: "300"
Z: "400"

That's all I tried to change

mhmm works for me

Can you add profiles with other names?

Generally i can create a profile with name "abcdef" and model "abcdef". i don't get any error, but then it is not shown in the list. not even with reload.

In the picture i only changed the name. the other pages are default.

Here the current log:

I'm having the same problem, even if all I change is the print bed volume it won't save, and may or may not tell me to check the logs (I couldn't see anything relating to the printer profile settings)

I've tried editing the existing profile, creating a new profile, in normal and safe modes. I can't print the thing I want because it tells me it is too big, but it isn't, just bed size is just set wrongly.

Running OctoPi 0.18.0/OctoPrint 1.8.6 on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2, with a Creality Ender 3 v2

octoprint-systeminfo-20230123210400.zip (929.2 KB)

I had the same issue and found that it was tied to the "power supply under voltage" logic. Just suppressing the undervoltage warning is not sufficient. I had to plug in a new power supply and once the Pi stopping seeing an undervoltage condition I was able to save profiles.
