Adding OV7670 to the Octoprint

What is the problem?
I am trying to connect the OV7670 Camera that I have and was wondering if I can connect the OV7670 Camera that I already have. On searching, I found and made all the connections as shown in the PDF.

What did you already try to solve it?
I tried to make all the connections hoping it would connect to the webcam.

Additional information about your setup (OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, what kind of hardware precisely, ...)

  • OctoPrint Version: 0.17.0
  • Printer: Ender 3

Possible solution: Adding pin selection for the camera in the GUI(suggested long term) or just in firmware of the OctoPi (quicker)

Hi, Neeraj!
Looks like supporting your camera will need some coding.
You will need OV7670 support either in MJPG-Streamer or in V4L2.

The MJPG-Streamer looks great. I will test it out hopefully soon (within this week) and update here.
