Any ideas on how I can improve my 3D printing Timelapse? More info in comments…

Here is a link to my Timelapse https://drive.google.com/file/d/1UxRf7uhEEHCQrJWN9ilduF4e2CjFwygc/view?usp=drivesdk

I am using octoprint on a Pi 3B+ for my prusa MK3S+ printing PLA. I have Logitech C920 which I have mounted to the frame. The only parameters I’ve changed in my “Octopi.txt” file are that…

  1. Camera=“USB” 2)camera_usb_options=“-r 1920x1080 -f 30”

I’ve included screenshots of my settings I’m currently using in octolapse in the link above, here are some more settings I couldn’t include screenshots of…Stabilization: Backright, Trigger: Classic Every Layer, Rendering: MP4-30 fps, Logging:Log all Errors.

As far as I can tell I’m also having filament retraction issues at the very top of the print. Any advice for what I can do in order to improve my Timelapse videos is greatly appreciated!

Camera model Logitech C920

What is the problem? Timelapse is poor quality

Logs (/var/log/webcamd.log, syslog, dmesg, ... no logs, no support) N/A

Additional information about your setup (OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, ...) Mentioned Above

Hello @Gabrielcampbell !

You may improve the lighting.

As it can be seen on the image above, the light partially shines into the camera. That messes up the image.

Take care nor direct or reflected light shines into the camera.
Best position is from behind the camera. somehow like the picture below.
