Hi,
I am running Octopi from the official image on an RPi4.
When I upload or drag/drop a file onto the files panel it goes to the head of the list (I'm sorting "latest") and flashes yellow, but only the last two lines of the file details are visible (see screenshot), the file name is hidden.
Behaviour is the same in Firefox, Chrome and Opera.
Can this be corrected please?
This has nothing to do with OctoPi.
Also a better subforum is Get Help

First it has to be declared if this really an OctoPrint issue.
I never said it did - quicker than saying "Running Octoprint on a Raspberry Pi4 installed via the official Octopi image"
For the sake of completeness:
- OctoPrint 1.8.6
- Python 3.7.3
- OctoPi 0.18.0
Really? I don't need any help, I'm trying to help the developers by pointing out a repeatable bug across three different browsers
If you insist...

Yes
Did running in safe mode solve the problem?
No, it is even worse as only the last line is visible.

it's happening in the web interface, perhaps I should be posting on an Ngnix forum?
You did:
If only you have this issue up to now, it's very questionable if it really a OctoPrint issue.
And this is not quite a help.
Ewald I don't want to fall out with you, and I will do my best to explain my thinking. The list of tags is quite limited and I added "octopi" simply because I'm using it. No other choices seemed appropriate.
It would be far more helpful on your part to head off and look at YOUR Octoprint web interface to see if it has the same problem.
Neither of my two installations has problems
I'm running on Firefox with minimal restrictions on these LAN addresses.
Exactly!
Watch..
I moved the slider to the top
I dropped a new file
Addendum, I see that you are using a slicer thumbnail add-in, this no doubt changes the behaviour of the file list box.
Slider has moved down all by itself, leaving only the last two lines of the new file.
Maybe you could have a look (when you the time) in safe mode?
Apologies - but you are right.
Never noticed because I directly upload from the slicer.
I recommend to create a bug report on the OctoPrint github:
Cheers!
I'll head off there immediately.
Thanks for the help.
Submitted and fixed for release 1.9.0
