You need to find a Linux driver.
okay but can you help me a little bit? i am not that very good with those codes and all.
The last post in the link I provided contains this link, https://github.com/morrownr/88x2bu-20210702. You need to follow the instructions in the README.
I don't have the same hardware at my disposal so I'm not sure how I can do more.
You have a 10+ year old RPi that doesn't have WiFi network hardware, only 100 Base Ethernet and USB 2.0 ports. To this you are attempting to attach a USB 3.0 device that only has Windows driver support from TP-Link.
If you can't follow the instructions from that GitHub repository and you can't make do with Ethernet, then you might be better off purchasing an RPi Zero 2 with built in WiFi hardware.
okay, i didnt know that pretty dumb from me that i didnt check i am installing the drivers now otherwise i will return the wifi adapter buy the other raspberry thank you for helping.
Glad to see you are making progress, Good Luck!
There may be other USB WiFi adapters that already have drivers in the version of the RPi OS you have but you will have to research that.
hey hello i downloaded the drivers with kernel ver 15.10.5 what do i do now?
The README from that GitHub repository is incredibly detailed and includes step by step instructions. If you are having trouble following them then I think you may need an alternate solution.
how do i get them on my raspberry just copy the file?
As @b-morgan mentioned: It's written on that site. Starting with Installation Steps.
Installation Steps
Note: The installation instructions are for the novice user. ...
