Cannot connect MK4 to OP (Raspberry 4) by USB-C

What is the problem?

Suddenly I cannot connect to MK4 anymore, SerialPort is not found.

What did you already try to solve it?

Switched between four different usb a - usb c cables (that worked before),
switched to another Raspi 4,
formatted sd and new clean install of OP (from Mac and Windows with Raspberry PI Imager, several times),
changed power plugs (both original Raspi),
run OP in Save mode,
Pronterface MK4->Windows is working properly (same cables)

Just to be sure - is the printer powered on?

Did you change any settings on the printer? Fw update, enabled WiFi module or something else?

Hi, printer is powered on. I did a fw update, after the connection couldn’t be established. I disabled WiFi on printer side, after the connection did not establish. I turned of prusa connect and mmu after the connection problems. It did not make a change. The Logitech webcam, does not work as well since the problems started. It usually should work, even with no printer connection, right ? Just tested mouse and keyboard, they won’t connect either to the raspi(s)

I am no Linux pro, but could it be a kernel problem ? Is there something in in raspberry-config I could try ?

Ok, after 10 days hit n miss I found a solution for me.
I reinstalled OP not by using the Raspberry imager, but BalenaEtcher on MacOS (manually/formated sd before with boardtools/wifi settings and so on). Since than the ports and USBs are recognized.

Thats odd, I have just used Raspberry Pi Imager on a Mac to download and install Octoprint for a Prusa Mk4 and it "just worked".

I suspect an SD card issue here rather than a Octoprint or similar. SD cards are not as reliable as we would like.
