Durr Me...
It’s been a while
New slicer not providing .gcode files only .x3g

Well, actually, this GPX plugin I have always had lets you print from .x3g files, so I guess my original Topic here remains an error ...? :frowning:

So for my FlashForge Creator Pro's 2014,2015,2016 i are these GPX settings AOK?

I checked again and there was a new GPX update and all now seems AOK FYI  √

... nope, I just cannot get .x3g files to print any more :frowning:

I'm fairly sure that I remember @markwal saying that the plugin doesn't support printing x3g files and you need to slice to gcode.

Thanks Gina,

I'm sure I use to be able to, I see old .x3g files form last year I printed with ... never mind then ...

This is correct. The plugin only translates from gcode to x3g. It can't send x3g untranslated, we'd need a different mixin or hook to do that.

However, you can (must) print x3g if from the printer's SD card which is why I show them in the list.
