Can't Install Plugins via Octoprint or SSH

What is the problem?

I can install bed visualizer, but nothing else. Updating my pip from v20 to v21 also breaks my server and doesn't allow me to even try to install any more plugins.

What did you already try to solve it?

Updating my pip, installing using URL and command line in SSH

You aren't using a common method of installing and running OctoPrint. Please describe how you installed it.

Oh, sorry! I'm running it through my android phone via Octo4a

OctoLapse needs to compile it's C++ extension as part of it's installation. As far as I know, Octo4a doesn't have this installed by default.

Try installing 'Plugin Extras' from Octo4a's settings page, that might contain what OctoLapse needs to install properly.
