Changing octoprint from old printer to new printer

What is the problem?

I have an Ender 3 pro setup on my octoprint. I received a new 5 Plus for Christmas. I’d like to swap which printer is on my raspberry pi (my pro needs repairs).

What’s the easiest way to change the two printers without starting all over.

What did you already try to solve it?

Checked YouTube… all I can find are videos to add multiple printers… but, they seem to be individual’s that have “hacked” the server.

You probably can just shutdown the pi, unplug the USB from printer A and plug it into printer B, power on...print.

I would maybe add creating a new printer profile in OctoPrint to that - since they will have different dimensions. But yeah, just switch the USB cable over.
