Connecting a bltouch to the pi instead of the printer main board?

Is there a setup guide or any instructions on how to connect a bl or cr touch directly to a pi 4 running octoprint, including powerering it?

This is for a setup using an ender 5 where I can't open the printer up and make changes, or change the firmware from stock, but I can bolt things on to the outside.

Everything needs to be able to be done without opening the case on the ender 5, is this even possible?

Unfortunately that's not possible.

Your printer's firmware is responsible for bed compensation, so the probe must be connected to the printer.

It might be possible with Klipper though.
