What is the problem?

I cannot seem to connect my endoscope to my raspberry Pi 3b+ or Pi 4

What did you already try to solve it?

  • switch from Pi 3b+ to 4 and install lastest camera stack

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Yes, i got a "server error" in my browser instead of it not loading at all

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

No

are you able to connect to this camera as a simple USB camera on another system (Maybe your windows machine) that is not running the related phone app? Just thinking maybe the camera itself does not conform to standards.

@jcassel Thank you for the suggestion! on my windows machine it does recognise, it is recognised on my raspberry pi as well, But then it does not output video. I have tried another webcam on my raspberry pi (using the same setup method) and it does output video

Use "lsusb" from the console to see how it is recognized.
