Connection Error but Camera working / Too many consecutive timeouts

What is the problem?

I get the "Too many consecutive timeouts, printer still connected and alive?" Error

I tried to set up the octopi for the first time so my setup never woked before
the connection seems to be there because i can see the webcam stream on octopi.local

but the pi fails to collect temperature data nor i can control the printer

What did you already try to solve it?

I reflashed the sd card
paid attention to the setup in the txt file
put a piece of tape on the 5 v pin of the usb

Additional information about your setup

OctoPrint version 1.4.0 , OctoPi version 0.17.0, Prusa mk3s, 3.9.0, chrome, mac os x Catalina *

Glad you found the issue.

Could you post what you changed? Maybe somebody else has the same problem in the future :slight_smile:

I just changed the setting of the RPi on my prusa to the other option
