Controls in Control Tab are Greyed out and unusable

What is the problem?

OctoPrint working better than advertised EXCEPT after the last upgrade to 1.73 the controls in the control tab where there but not functional.

What did you already try to solve it?

Rebooted PI, validated configuration of PI

Have you tried running in safe mode?

Yes

Did running in safe mode solve the problem?

No

Typically the controls are disabled like that if the printer isn't connected. Since this a UI issue I suspect something weird going on browser side. Does the same thing happen in incognito mode of your browser? Do you see any errors in your browser's developer tools (F12) on the console tab on initial page load?

Additionally (though not related to the problem in the post) your Pi is reporting that it is overheating and throttling, you should try and move it somewhere/do something so it will stay cooler.

Yes, it happens in Incognito as well as Firefox and Edge. Looking in to heat issue, the PI is in a fan fed enclosure, so looking at fan and filters
