So when I push the down control it goes up, and up goes down. I don't want to accidently crash into the print surface. I have a Ender 5 Pro is probably why but nothing came up in the search, anyone have a fix for this? Thanks.
It's not really backwards: those aren't actually 'Up' and 'Down,' instead it's actually 'increase Z' and 'decrease Z.'
In your case, the bed is all the way up at Z = 0. Telling the printer to increase Z means it has to move the bed down.
In any case, if you just want to swap what the buttons do anyway, you can just check the appropriate invert control box in the printer profile:
