Creality Ender 3 Not connecting to pi or computer

What is the problem?
My printer will NOT connect to my computer, octoprint and won't show up in serial port menu
What did you already try to solve it?
using different cables reflashing both firmwares

Additional information about your setup (OctoPrint version, OctoPi version, printer, firmware, browser, operating system, ... as much data as possible)

I am using Marlin 1.1.9 with bootloader and bltouch installed.
Latest Octoprint version.
Only a temporary setup so no camera connected

Help Me please I have been trying to fix this for WEEKS!

Just to be sure - your printer also doesn't work on your pc with pronterface or something similar?

HELP

Also I have the Creality 1.1.5 mainboard

When I try to flash firmware with arduino the com port will not show up and keeps giving error

How did you flash the firmware and which firmware did you use exactly?

Marlin 1.1.9 and i flashed it using arduino ide through the isp

because i couldn't through the usb

I see.
Does the printer itself work? Does it boot up and show something on the display?

Yes everything else works fine even the sd card

Well then I guess either the usb port is broken or something is wrong with the firmware.
Let's look at the firmware. Zip the Configuration.h and Configuration_adv.h you used and upload them here.

Configuration files.zip (47.9 KB) here

It WAS working before then it just stopped

The new firmware worked and then it just stopped?
Well then I'm pretty sure something is wrong with the usb.
I don't see anything wrong with the config. You didn't select the tmc2208s as drivers but that's not that important.

is there a way to connect to the pi not using usb (idk)?

The printer still turns on with out the main power supply when connected to the usb so maby??

No sry. This board got no uart
Maybe you can see a bent pin inside the port or a broken solder joint on the pcb.

I suggest you wait a day and see if anyone alse got an idea.
