Creality filament sensor

i have a ender 3 max neo, that has a filament sensor, since ive had it connected to octopi it never detects when it runs out of filament, is there a way to toggle it on or do i need a plug in to make it work? any help would be great!

Using octopi running off raspberry pi 4 4gb
Version 1.9.2

Also using Obico to monitor
