I feel silly asking this, but here goes. Will a Core 1+ printer pause printing when it runs out of filament AND it is connected to OctoPrint? I have 3 nearly empty rolls that I'd like to use up, but don't want to blow prints. 2-10m of filament per roll.
Anyone know if there's an issue with this? I know the printer will pause for filament empty when using a USB stick, but some things are different when connected to OctoPrint, and some data is not fully transmitted to OctoPrint.
If I remember correctly, the Buddy Firmware doesn't send pause on filament runout back to serial connected software like OctoPrint. Not sure if it was ever patched/fixed, but there's lots of issues related to it and other serial related issues/feature requests.
Seems crazy that there hasn't been more cooperation from Prusa, those requests in github are from 2020. There's no target chamber temp being sent either. Sure would make things easier for everyone if they opened up some.
